Contour – AKW – SD Shower Dec Wet Room Floor Former, All Sizes (VINYL / TILED Floors)

For people who may require complete access to the shower area, our extensive range of wet room floor formers provide the perfect solution.

You can quickly create a walk in wet room by installing a ShowerDec® wetroom floor former into the bathroom floor. Wet room floor formers have a pre-formed gradient moulded into their top surface, so there is no need to manually create a fall in the floor to the shower trays waste position.

ShowerDec® wet room floor formers greatly reduce installation time and are quicker and easier to install than traditional screeded methods. A Wet Room Membrane is a waterproof membrane kit that should be used beneath ceramic tiles in a wet room.

ShowerDec® has been tested to withstand 100 Stone / 635kg and as such, it is not necessary to use additional noggins around the waste position assisting ease & speed of installation. (*Tested in accordance with a standard floor with 16" joist centres of 47mm width & supported around the floor former outer edges. No additional support around the waste area).
